What we don't know about you.

waltimmy.org does not collect personal data beyond what is strictly required to operate the site. We do not set tracking cookies, do not use Google Analytics, and do not embed advertising networks. The site is served without a cookie banner.

For simple audience measurement we use a self-hosted, privacy-friendly Plausible instance via jk.zxx.im. The measurement is used only to understand basic page views. No tracking cookies are set and no advertising profiles are created.

When you visit the site, the hosting provider (Vercel) collects technically necessary log data (IP address, date, time, user agent, referrer). This data is used for security and is deleted after a short retention period. It is not combined with other data sources.

The fonts on this site (Fraunces, IBM Plex Sans, IBM Plex Mono) are self-hosted via Next.js and next/font. No connection is made to external font servers (e.g. Google Fonts).

The site links to third-party sources (e.g. AP, Reuters, ZDF). When you click such a link you leave waltimmy.org; the privacy practices of the respective providers then apply.

You have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, withdrawal, and objection. In practice this concerns the technically necessary server logs and the audience measurement described above.
