What we know

Timmy was a humpback whale documented in Germany’s Baltic Sea in spring 2026. After several strandings and rescue attempts, he was released into the North Sea in early May. A dead humpback whale was found off Anholt on 15 May 2026.

What we do not know

The identity of the dead whale off Anholt, the exact cause of death, and the time of death are not marked in this chronicle as conclusively confirmed.
